Vocabulary
Weeks 1 & 2:
· Accountability: When you can count on someone to be responsible.
· Collaborate: When you work together with someone else.
· Expectation: What you are expected to do.
· Goal: Something that is challenging that you are trying to reach.
· Integrity: To be honest and fair.
· Objective: A challenge you are trying to achieve.
· Procedure: What you do specifically when something happens.
· Respect: A feeling you have towards someone of something.
· Blog: A place where you type or write about things that are going on.
· Browser: A place on the internet that allows you to search for games, music, info, and just about anything you want or need.
· Default: What is supposed to happen automatically as long as you don’t make changes.
· Link: A clickable thing that sends you to another webpage. Usually highlighted in blue or purple if you have clicked it.
· Publish: To update the changes you have put on something onto the WWW (World Wide Web)
· Website: Any place on the internet. The page can range from a gaming website to a browser.
Weeks 3 &4
· Algorithm: A list of instructions to complete a task.
· 2. Boolean: A type of code that is used in programming and coding.
· 3. Conditional Statement: A type of coding that exists as a true or false Coding that is paired up with other coding to test a task.
· 4. Debug: To get rid of problems in coding and/or programming
· 5. Event handle: A type of routine in programming to handle certain Events or problems.
· 6. Glitch: A bug in a game that allows the user to perform something that wasn’t implied or made for the map.
